RPG Stat system
Ok heres what I am thinking
I am thinking when a person is first making their character they have a set base level and stats. Then they are given seven stat points to distribute between their five main stats.Example #1:
Stats:
Level: 1
HP (Hit Points): 20/20
MP (Magic Points): 20/20
SP (Spirit Points): 100/100
Strength: 1
Endurance: 1
Speed: 1
Spirit: 1
Mind: 1
Exp: 0
Needed to Level up: 10
Starting stat points to distribute: 7
Example #2:
Stats:
Level: 1
HP (Hit Points): 20/20
MP (Magic Points): 20/20
SP (Spirit Points): 100/100
Strength: 3
Endurance: 3
Speed: 2
Spirit: 2
Mind: 2
Exp: 0
Needed to Level up: 10
Ok basically these are their starting stats when their finished first making their characters. Now then I bet your wondering what the EXP is needed for and I shall explain that.
I've decided to give an EXP system to help with progression heres how it is gonna work at the end of each topic a person has participated in a mod or admin will give them exp based on how well they did, and what they did. When they reach a specific amount their level will increase and they will get +1 to each stat and then based on their mind and endurnace stats their hp and mp will increase.
Example #3:
Stats:
Level: 2
HP (Hit Points): 22/22
MP (Magic Points): 21/21
SP (Spirit Points): 100/100
Strength: 4
Endurance: 4
Speed: 3
Spirit: 3
Mind: 3
Exp: 10
Needed to Level up: 20
Basically whats gonna happen is at each level up their HP & MP will increase by half their Endurance (HP) and half their Mind (MP) rounded down of course. As for how I will be Determining the needed EXP to level up is quite simple it will be equal to their level x 10.
Example #4:
Level 2 = More 20 EXP to level up.
This is what I have right now but I will add more as I go and possibly make some changes based on peoples comments and suggestions. Remember any and all input is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
